Finding Therapy in the Architecture of the Motor City.

I’ve always been drawn to the energy of Detroit. While studying to become an Art Therapist at Wayne State University, I was tasked with creating a large body of work. Between the daily grind of grad school and work, I started doing freehand drawings of the city's buildings.

It became my own personal therapy, a way to slow down, redirect my focus to a true passion, and intimately get to know the landmarks and classics that make Detroit so resilient. Today, Drawn to Detroit is my way of sharing that reverence with you.
